why the skin allegiance is always showing??

I know that the pack is no longer available for purchase but why does it still appear in the collection? either it should disappear from the collection or be still possible to buy even if the team left halo …

thanks

If memory serves me right, the same thing can be said for the Beta Recruit / Star / Prime emblems, Halo World Championships 2016, and Counter Logic Gaming as they’re no longer attainable.

It appears because some people have it.

yes because people bought it at the time;) or they should offer it to everyone now

It does suck that some of those can’t be obtained. But who cares that it shows?

There’s always a possibility that they could come back in the future. The Renegades org just came back and they left Halo a long time ago. I also don’t think it would be worth 343’s time to make an update to remove emblems.

The real question is… Why did they remove the CLG skins and emblem from the REQ collection?

That ist the question I am asking myself the whole time. Why are certain REQ packs givin out for limited time period only?
In my opinion that’s totally unfair.
343 cannot say “Halo 5 has been in market since
3 years now and everybody had the enough time/chances to obtain certain REQs.”
There are few aspects about gamers and their life not being considered which is crucial:
1. CollectorsA gamer that discovers passion for a game likes to get 100% at it (achievements, skins, armor, commendations, emblems, medals etc.).
Time based skin and armor REQs + time period based achievable emblems kill everyones whish to obtain 100% at Halo 5.
2. DiscovererPeople that discover Halo for themselves late due to a big variety of circumstances.
3. Part time gamersGamers that actually have a life and cannot afford playing 24/7 but still have passion for certain games and wish to achieve 100% in the future.
4. Full time gamers with bad luckGamers that spend so much time on the game because they love it so much but we’re not able to be online when 343 gave out a new limited time period REQ or a new season started to earn a new emblem.
.
If it’s all for the gamers then I don’t know why this has never been considered.
Even now an update could change everything… So why isn’t it being done?

I’ll just address both of your questions in relation to the org skins. The organization skins are a third party emblem/skin for Halo eSports which 343 has to give a portion of the REQ profits to those orgs. It wouldn’t make much business sense to remake contracts (assuming their agreement only applies when they’re in Halo) so they can continue selling those skins and emblems when their org isn’t in Halo anymore just to satisfy collectors which would likely yield minimal profits anyway.

Thank you for the answer.
If that’s the case, then nobody ever thought this through until the end plus giving no transparency concerning this issue isn’t very clever.
People/Gamers want to be informed.
Leaving them in the dark with issues like this one is a very bad marketing strategy.
