Because there is literally no way this game is worse than halo 4 so the fact that it has a lower score is just dumb

I liked Halo 4. Sure, the Tron like environments got a little old, but it was not bad

I guess I was talking gameplay wise. I just don’t understand how the game is getting low reviews based on a confusing plot but the plot is probably only confusing if you don’t follow the series
Halo 4 for me had the best story out of all Halo’s. It broke my heart in a very poetic beautiful way.
If Halo 5 could’ve had this story this would be called a superb game. Instead it’s just mediocre. And Halo is anything but mediocre.
I take reviews with a grain of salt. Reviewers don’t know my tastes, only I can know what I like.
Really enjoyed Halo 4 and looking forward to Halo 5.

Of course they don’t matter. All that matters is your opinion, the review scores are just other opinions.
Well in a way the metascore does make some sense, it gives you an idea about how the general population will enjoy the game. Most people here will love the game, but some people still hate it for what it doesn’t have. You cant please everyone, but you can try to with the most amount of people.
Destructoid gave Halo 4 a 10 but Halo 5 a 7, how I suppose to believe those reviewers, LOL.
I reluctantly admit that Halo 4’s campaign was very well done.
The MP was utterly atrocious. It’s very possible the campaign in H5 isn’t as good as H4. The MP doesn’t look as good as old Halo, but it looks better than H4.
Maybe the reviews are an accurate representation.
Remember, there’s no Forge. That’s a huge downside to customization.
I’ve enjoyed some very low rated games and I’ve hated some very highly rated games. I stopped using reviews as my sole metric a long time ago.
The best way to form an opinion is to play it, or from friends say that’s why word of mouth is always more valuable than reviews, because friends/family know you better than random reporter guy/gal.

Halo 5 has less content at launch than Halo 4.
Quality may be better than quantity, but quantity still has its place.

- Matchmaking - Strongholds - Campaign - Warzone - Theater - Slayer - CTFThat’s less content than Halo 3, let alone 4 and even more so - Reach.
