Why The Req Buy/Sell System Needs a Patch

These are simply reasons that relate to why I believe Halo 5: Guardians needs to add to the buy/sell system in the requisitions menu.

  • We want to play as soon as we can with new weapons/customiziables, buying multiple packs takes too long (in game). - I have too many units of a particular item I seldom use, 200 boltshots for example, I’d like to sell them to buy more REQ packs, but 2-7 seconds of waiting PER UNIT takes more time than it needs to.Solutions:
For both buying and selling, we should have a system to buy (with req points) or sell en masse (1/5/10/25/50/100/250) instantaneously.

Anyone agree?

P.S My Spartan company The Survivors of Chorus is looking for New Recruits. we are fairly active and striving to achieve the SC commendations. Thanks for reading.

Sounds like a decent idea. Select a bunch and then hit sell.

Yeah that would be a good idea for those of us who horde items (or never use them). I’d take it a step further and say “What if we got an extra bonus for selling more”? Or better yet, take a page from the Reach’s customization and allow us to buy items with REQ points rather than packs. Of course these item would have to be priced high enough to not make packs worthless but I think it would be an interesting concept. That said, Legendary/Ultra Rare items would be priced extremely high to make this work and not break the REQ system.

Why did you let yourself build up to so many boltshots? But I can agree… patches I would like to see… after opening a pack have a sell all option and or mark the items you wish to sell. When in your inventory be able to sell more than one item at a time, for example when you click on an item to sell you should be able to put in a quantity of how many you want to sell.

Was going to like your post then I saw shameless advertising for your SC. Smh

Lol dude relax… Unless you are a YouTube celebrity or have literally dozens of friends it’s hard finding people for a SC. Give the guy a break.

Sometimes while going on a massive selling spree the game will randomly say you have no more of that item the only fix for me is to play another round or reset the game it’s really annoying

I tend to horde what I get from req packs. Went on a selling spree when I had close to 100 mongoose and Warthogs that I never used. Should just start calling them in ands handing them to teammates!

The boltshot count was an example but i did have over 100 because I already have the commendation for it.

Yes we need a mass sell option, I want to disable the purchase option too for spending real money since don’t like it there in case if I accidentally click on it.

Yesterday I was going through my collection and realized I had 36 Ghosts and 33 Sword Ghosts.

Once I read that they’re available at the same level I wanted to kick myself. Like, WHY even keep normal Ghosts in stock if they open at the same level and one is objectively superior? Nevermind that 30+ of either Ghost would be more than enough.

I’m compiling a list of things that needs to be in the game (in my opinion at least). I’ll be sure to add this!

P.S
There is an extension for Google Chrome that allows you to do the selling part. I often save up a crap ton of REQ points and buy a bunch of packs without looking at what I get so this helps with selling the stuff I don’t use.
In other words. If you have Google Chrome, get it. If not, that’s a slower road you’re taking.

The Survivors of Chorus…

Why does that seem EERILY familiar to my SC?

Oh well!

No connection, just a coincidence. My SC’s name is based on Red vs Blue seasons 11-13

Can you name the extension please?

Great ideas. No one wants to open / sell packs one by one if you have hundreds of them. I guess you could always do that as soon as you get them, but hey - you shouldn’t be punished for procrastination that could be fixed with the options OP suggested.

For those looking for the extension. Here’s a link:

Is this available now in 2020? Got over 5000 xp boosts that no longer are useful. Max level reached.

Most of the players in halo 5 want to be able to buy and sell reqs in bulk, it’s been a demand for a long time now. Still, thank you op for bringing it up again. It is possible 343 could patch this issue, this late in. We have seen other changes and turnarounds before, like mcc getting a overhaul and more updates.

Please don’t revive old topics thanks
