Waypoint mods are strict because they know with how advertised it is on xbox and such they’re going to attract a lot of immature little kids (along with other undesirables but mostly the kiddies violating COPPA in the first place) who can’t be exposed to the stuff we post regardless of how benign it really is, despite the fact that with one exception every installment in this series has been clearly marked by the ESRB, all over the boxes and ads “M MATURE 17+”
Basically, 12 year olds ruined Halo forums. Look at the Reach forum on bungie.net for instance, pre-migration. Now imagine if that was site-wide. That’s pretty much what we are.
In short, however strict the mods may be, it’s not their fault.
Blame the 12 year olds.
