Hi there! I registered for these forums over a week ago attempting to jump into the conversation and talk about Halo Infinite. I was curious, why such a hard lock and key for the forums?
It took far longer than I care to admit to guess-my-way into getting into a basic account before I found obscure google searches for how to get to a “basic” account. After which, I felt like I was trying to “level up” in order just to post. Add to that, I have my first two posts from a week ago that are just sitting in a “pending” state. Icing on top? I can’t even respond to the auto-bot which messages you welcoming to the forum as it says I’ve reached my post limit for the day (I’ve not posted anything, and it’s been 5 days).
Any particular reasoning behind it? I understand spam, but the amount of effort needed just to talk about a video game with a company that’s all about community and trying to get involved… seems counter productive.
Am I doing something wrong?
