It just makes it Snipers, but with insane auto aim. I sprinted at the start of a match on Daybreak, got assaulted by two reds, spun round in the faint hope I would get a kill with the DMR, and yes! First Strike.

Why the hell is the DMR in halo would be a better question.
It’s a much better fit for SWAT than the BR, where you can just swipe your reticle around and get headshots you weren’t even initially aiming for.
I’d be ok with the Lightrifle in SWAT, but the DMR works fine IMO.
I’m not sure if you’re joking or not. The lack of spread makes it more suitable than a BR surely?
I don’t know about its bullet magnetism though.
The DMR is just fine in Swat. 343I had som thoughts behind it when they put it in there.

The real question is, why are you playing SWAT on Daybreak?
And also, SWAT is usually played on smaller maps where there’s not much distinction between the BR and the DMR as the DMR only really outranges it in a few instances just because of the range at which normal fighting is (Aside from Complex, where terrible spawns and lack of cover make the DMR easily outclass the BR). It’s mainly a distinction of whether you like one shot or a burst (And even then, there is the magnum which I would argue beats the DMR on smaller maps)
