Me and other people were dissapointed that the oni card was a phateon and not a falcon, but have we forgot that we are already getting a new game mode, a new map, armor sets, new weapons, and it would be almost impossible to also cram in a brand new vehicle and playtest it with all of those other things added in.
I have been speculating what was going to be in the next update “Hog Wild”. It seems like we are going to get race, but what else. The name and picture for the update is a warthog, what is a warthog, a vehicle. What have fans been asking for, a UNSC vehicle. It really just makes sense that they would add the Falcon or Hornet in a vehicle themed update.
I doubt it would be impossible. Difficult sure but not impossible.
Still, your theory rings true. Cause lets be honest, we have enough Hogs already, what more are they going to give us? More differently colored ones? A Falcon would actually be welcomed.

Maybe some assets are reused, but a huge number of set pieces must be modeled, textured, shaded correctly, then remodeled (probably), and retextured (again, probably).
Not to mention that the actual way the map plays needs to be perfected, like any other map.

Making a remix doesn’t really make building the map more difficult, it just requires less planning because you already have the art assets for it. People are saying that they should have added a reach map, but if they did it wouldn’t compliment Halo 5’s movement style. People would be complaining, “This map is broken, it doesn’t work in Halo 5”. But if they changed it to compliment Halo 5’s movement people would be complaining, “this is nothing like and worse than the map from reach, F U 343i, you ruined this map!” But I appreciate your sophisticated response and not just complaining about how stupid 343 is.

Like I said in the first post in my forum that I think that it will be added in the next update because it’s vehicle themed and they said that there would be a new vehicle added in Halo 5 when they first announced the monthly updates.
