Why the credit system killed objective games.

There is no incentive to win anymore. Everyone gets more credits based on preformance rather than winning. So why should we go for the objective anymore in playlists like big team battle when you can get 25+ kills by flying around the map with a banshee and get my KD really high. I miss the times in halo 2&3 when people would risk thier KD just to go for the objective and in the end it was worth it because you ranked up. So why should I go for the objective when I can farm kills and get 1000 more credits instead of going for the objective?

Solution: Give 3000 credits to everyone who wins the game and who ever loses the game gets a maximum of 1000 credits(besides challenges). Also KD should not count towards objective games.

Most of the people I play with either don’t care much about credits anymore because of their high rank or never cared in the first place. We try to win in objective most of the time cause it’s fun!

THats why this game isn’t as fun as other halo games, the whole team should go for the objective. All there needs to be a is an incentive to win.

^Did you get this from here by any chance?

Secondly, you might wanna post this in multiplayer for more attention, just an off topic suggestion.

Thirdly, I think a multiplier for winning makes more sense. That way people are still rewarded for performance so it doesn’t encourage AFKing.

Fourthly, why should this be exclusive to objective? I know it’s the biggest problem their but it might work in slayer too.

Yeah I got it from there lol

I never held the objective in Halo 3 but do it all the time in Reach. Just part of the game, I guess.
