Why does 343 insist on making the Achilles armor ONLY obtainable by finishing all KILL commendations???
Why not WARZONE base captures, or WARZONE/WARZONE Assault Victories??? This stupid decision has turned Warzone Assault into nothing but kill farming, every time we have to defend, the enemy ends up not trying to capture the base, but instead just spawn killing us, same goes with the defending team, they just spawn kill.
There’s a few players that spawn kill EVERY TIME I get into a lobby with them, please change the way you earn Achilles 343, it’s ruining a chunk of your game for a lot of us.
I wouldn’t say you could chalk up the spawn killing to Achilles by itself. Players will spawn kill and ignore objectives regardless of any incentive if they choose to do so. And who knows, maybe there will be armor in a future update that requires working through base captures and the like.
Blaming spawn killing on one armor set doesn’t make sense to me, personally, especially when there are other commendations open for future armor and unlocks.

Sure, but ever sense the Achilles was available to earn, everybody has been sweating nothing but kills in Wassault, You’re right people will spawn kill anyway, but the whole objective for Warzone Assault is pretty much ignored now.
Oh good another post with the same exact content. Looks like there needs to be a “Why I hate Achilles” sticky right under the “Why I was Banned” sticky.

I haven’t played as much WA lately just because I’ve been trying to get into a more competitive scene in arena, but I went through spawn killing and kill farming game after game even before Achilles.

Quit crying lol. in Warzone Assualt you have to spawn kill if you’re attacking so they can’t make it back to the base, not wait till they get in the base to kill them again. it’s strategie, and I’m able to spawn kill you for 6 mins on defense then I’ll gladly do that, I’m not gunna wait to you get to the objective to kill you. Offense is the best defense! and by the way Halo will always those group of people “farming”, Achilies or not. So don’t try to blame it on the armour.

I still would have preferred a Leonidas armor since we have “Spartans”.
Kill commendations were only the start. 343 has expressed interest in adding new items for the other groups of commendations (assists and game modes). They could explore adding weapon skins or emblems as rewards for these, though Whiskey is already finished with Assists (so I’m banking on Game Modes being the newest addition).
