Why tease us 343?

Why would you put a hornet in the sky box knowing the community wanted a UNSC flyable vehicle?

Because it looks cool.

Because they wanted to make us cry.

The same reason Bungie put the troop transport warthogs on the outside of The Pit but never allowed us to use them in multiplayer.

It was just for the scenery of a city themed map.

Don’t forget the gold Warthog on the poster in Headlong from Halo 2.

I just want a legitimate answer from 343

There is no “legit” answer to be had.

There are tons of things in-game that we can’t use, interact with or pilot. By that logic, I want a “legitimate answer” as to why they put pelicans in Spartan Ops knowing people want to use them.

The answer is, because certain affinity or whomever made the maps thought that it would look cool to put a flying vehicle in the backdrop to make things look more active and visually appealing.

Not to anger people who think that it looks eerily similar to a vehicle that’s no longer in the game.

It’s a nearby 3D object, meaning they put time and effort into making it a full model. And from what I saw, it looks like it has considerable thought put into it. I only see this as a good thing.

hahaha i din’t even notice that

because people in the 343 office were getting bored and decided to see what the most minor addition to the game that could still spawn complaint threads was

I swear to god they hate the Halo community.

This is a prime example.

If we had a UNSC flying vehicle this would make me happy but since its another thing 343 took out of Halo im very annoyed.
