The playlist was ranked for every halo except this one. This is the kind of decision that make me stop to play the game.

i would love a ranked tactical slayer mode
yeah i wont get back to the game until team swat and ffa got ranked and permanent. like every other halo.
343 think ranked is only for HCS. what a bad decision , we want bungie back

I wouldn’t mind seeing a Rank Tactical Playlist as long as you Start with the Magnum and you have to find other Tactical weapons on map. Which now can be done in 343 version of Forge.
The only thing extra I would definitely like to see is objective gametypes be added into the mix. Like 1 Flag, Oddball, and maybe classic KOTH. 
i have to disagree. i was thinking swat br… but swat br/magnum can be fine.
its still better than no ranked.
BR SWAT in Infinite is one of the worst versions of SWAT ever. Right up there with H4 SWAT.
The heatshots are just too free. I feel the same way about the BR in BTB, and think the Commando would work way better there.
Not sure what can really be done for SWAT though. Maybe the Bandit will prove to be that perfect middle ground we need between rate of fire, and skilled shot placement. Right now I think Commandos, Stalkers, or Manglers play the best. But none really get it right.
Being a 5star lvl 50 in H3 and Champ 1 multi seasons in multi playlists, Swat was my favorite and where I found some friends that I have known for 15+ years. I have to say that I haven’t even played Infinite for about 5 hours max and just waiting on Swat to be ranked, that and having playlists like Team Doubles, Team Slayer, Team Objective, FFA, MLG, I remember talking to Menke before he quit and asking about Swat and him saying they were planning on it, but since his departure , whoever tookover matchmaking scratched the plan I guess, and not keeping true to the things that made Online Team PVP and Juggernaut really killed the series in my opinion. I will always have a spot for Halo and would return as well as ALOT of OG pros would if they had a Standard structure with maybe 2 playlists on rotate. sincerely-Dano HD
Had it been ranked when released the state of desync would have made it a non starter, as a social they caught a break that most just accepted they would have to play swat later for it to work right. “later” was assumed reasonable on the players part, but is being shown to be astronomically out of touch with reality in actuality. Infinite playable by 2035 is best case scenario these days.
Was SWAT ever ranked in Reach, H4, or MCC?
