Seriously though why not leave it in the ever so tiny playlist that you have available now? Everyone wants it and yet you put it out for what, a week at a time? come on now 343…
They took it out so that they could replace it with another social playlist, but I do agree it should be a permanent playlist so that people who don’t want to be ranked can play or for a playlist that people can warm up on for 1 or 2 games
Cause 343 wants it to be a rotating social playlist which is dumb imo. They should have it to where you select slayer in the arena menu and you have the option to play it ranked or social. This would fix a lot of problems regarding people wanting social playlist for gamemodes.
btw Multi team is so disappointing, there isn’t that chaos factor that Halo 4 had, playing multi team king of the hill on haven for example just grenade spamming in the middle and dropping like 60 kills. i miss koth

One of my main issues with this game. The variety in matchmaking is so lacking compared to pretty much every other Halo game. It’s inexcusable at this point.
At least Infection is coming, that’s always a -Yoink- ton of fun.

I’ve always thought this. The only difference between the social Slayer everyone wants and ranked Slayer, is the name. That’s it.
You wanna relax and play video games? Then do it. You don’t have to take Slayer seriously if you don’t want to.

they’ve toned down the “competitive algorithm” in social playlist. But, you know there will always be sweats in those playlists making themselves look better than they actually are

Then the rest of your team has to put up with someone who isn’t really trying, which is extremely annoying in a ranked environment. That’s the whole point of having ranked AND social. In social you really have no reason to complain if someone is just messing around, it’s social. In ranked you do have a reason to get annoyed if someone is messing around, because they should be playing social instead.

Do you consider it not social unless you’re the best player in every game or something? Of course your games will have a few better players than you in them- doesn’t make them any less casual.
