Why sword is not on the weapon pad?

Why? Energy Sword is very effective weapon in Halo, so in past games, it was a power weapon. Now, you get no notification for its location and when is it spawning. Not just sword, there are overpowered weapons that considered as just weapon pickups, like Hydra, Gravity Hammer, Shotgun, and Needler. Those weapons should be spawned on the weapon pad and notifying when they are spawning and where are they. Especially in Torque, instead of Rocket Launcher, place one Gravity Hammer. It doesn’t feel right on Torque with two hammers.

I think they’re still classed as power weapons, but spawn in unmarked locations to give incentive to learn map layouts.

The sword is a power weapon, but power weapons aren’t always on weapon pads. Sometimes you just have to find them the good ole’ fashioned way. With your eyes and feet.

I know they are still classed as power weapon. Thing I don’t like is they don’t show up on the weapon pad.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but weapon layout respawn pretty much happens 10 seconds after the ammo it used up from the first one?

Sorry to say but you are complaining about trying to make the game easier. These opinions never seem to reach the eyes or ears of anyone that could possibly change it

It’s better this way. Learn the map.

Also weapon pads spawn around a static timer, so if the sword was on a weapon pad you could have multiple swords on the map at once. In the beta it was like that it wasn’t the most balanced thing ever.

The power weapons are divided into tiers now, based on their impact on the game and have different spawning behaviors as a result.

Tier Ones are the weapons pads, the weapons that can really screw over the enemy team if theyre used by someone capable.

Tier Twos are your Shotguns, Swords and Hydras; not as dominating as Tier Ones, but can give your team a consistent edge if controlled right throughout the game. They’re not actually on a spawn timer; they respawn when the previous iteration despawns through being dropped without ammo or lost from the map. So there should always be one in play somewhere on the map.

Tier 3’s are the low key stuff like BRs and SMGs and respawn every 30 seconds to a minute.

The idea behind the weapon pad is to create a battle for the area and the power weapon control. In previous game there wasn’t timer indications for any power weapons, you had to keep in mind the spawning time in order to get it. Pretty much like the camo and shield on Halo 5.

The energy sword is still a power weapon. It should be a weapon pad if not
