So like many Halo gamers I went out on Nov 6th to buy yet another Halo game with my hard earned money.
Being such a huge Halo fan, I was filled with joy and went on to my normal routine of finising the campaign twice, so far so good, 343i made a game with beautifull graphics, a good story and the trusted Halo gameplay
Off I went to Spartan Ops, while the maps are a bit repetitive at times, the CGI is wonderfull and the game mode is a perfect passtime when you only have a little time to play after a hard day of work.
Next up was War Games, which started off great as usual, still be best MP in the FPS arena, not all the maps are as brilliant as the ones in Bungie’s Halo 3, but they are still quite good, and so for a weeks all was well untill…
Untill I found out that one thing 343i forgot to take over was Bungie’s suppport for it’s gamers.
As it turns out my Euros are not good enough for Microsoft and 343i, first off they decided that although gamers from EU have also in instances such as mine spent well over a thousand Euros/Dollars we were not worth the effort to send specilisation codes because they simply don’t like us.
Then came the blunder that was the Crimson Map Pack release, which if you were from N.A and got a nice spec. code could download for free because of their amazing failure and following nonsense excuse that you just participated in a limited time trial (Seriously, who did you expect to believe that cop~out?)
Curious as to why they don’t like us/me I decided to ask Microsoft’s ''fastest business support" twitter as to why MS/343i have deicded to shun EU players.
They got no further than “Have you checked your email inbox and/or spam folders”, so they clearly had no idea as to the topic.
So I decided to ask 343i, surely after spending many dollars on their game they would have the decency to answer my question? As it turns out, not so much, they couldn’t even be bothered to reply…
So, anyone other EU players shunned like me? Any 343i/Xbox/Microsoft employee here with the nuts to explain why I wasn’t important enough?
Back to Infinity Slayer I guess.
