Why Spartan op's IS better than firefight!

Because I play it!!!
At first this may seem a crude reasoning. But think about it.
I never use to play firefight because there was little to no motive.
The xp was no better than a normal Match.
It was always always terribly lagging.
And it got boring fast.
And it was always set on the same maps lifted from campaign.

Spartan ops HAS addressed most my issues.
Well the XP actually makes it worth re-playing and kinda fun to try get the commendations.
The fact it has a progressive and fantastically well done cgi story is the clincher.
I enjoy the CGI parts more than the in game cut scenes of campaign. They really bring the world to life.
The variety of missions is also a nice break. 1 week it could be anti vehicle next week it could be taking out hunters with spartan lasers.

This makes it a lot more fun.

However
I will tell you whats wrong with spartan ops to.
Firefight custom match’s. The ability to set nearly everything for a custom match was firefights only advantage.

Soooo
All you people -Yoinking!- about Spartan ops. How about you juts ask for a customization menu for re-run missions.
Allowing you to change the player stat’s, loadout, and infantry enemies.
And to stop it messing up commendations. just make custom versions not count.
Lets be fair. That’s all that is really needed.

Firefight from Halo 3: ODST is better, however Reach’s Firefight? It was territory of AFK-ers.

OT: I enjoy Spartan Ops, but sometimes when I try to play it online people splatter you with their vehicle or the lag is unbearable.

well it was ok in odst it still lacked any real drive for me to play it.
And I think most of the people moaning about it probably are reach players.
Not odst diehards.
So yes the majority of my comparison is to reach firefight.
And i miss it not.

Spartan Ops is great. I love it.

Reach’s fire-fight was just a cluster-f**k. Where was the challenge? There never was any.

ODST’s Fire-Fight got it right, survival was never guaranteed.

For Halo 5, I hope 343 bring in Spartan Ops and Fire-Fight. Have them both in the game allowing players to either follow the story-driven mode or just mindlessly murder covenant foes.

Firefight could be fun occasionally, but my connection had to be stellar. Plus, you couldn’t get commendations playing solo in firefight so there was never any reason to play it.

Spartan Ops I can play solo and still get commendations so I like it a lot more. All of the reviews of Halo 4 think that Spartan Ops is a weak point but I disagree.

Halo ODST gave birth to firefight

That being said its probably the best one hands down

You actually felt the helplessness of brutes charging at you with hammers, Or feel panic when thos damn green flying thing over-swarmed you

As for Reach, It was ok, I just didnt like that fact that you were basically immortal. Sure they implemented firefight limited, But even that was kinda meh, The enemies were just overall weak (Except those silvery -Yoinks!- that came down in a group of five in that drop pod, MAN those were annoying)

Halo 4s Spartan Ops I think is sorta fun, I mean its basically a mini-Mission tagged with a story line, People do complain that the missions are short, But thats what I like about them, They take less time that doing a full co-op campaign mission, Saves time

But as for your opinion OP

Yes Spartan Ops is better than REACH Firefight in my opinion

But I think ODST Firefight was the best

Well then Firefight was better because I played it…

But seriously, they just need either

A. Put both modes into the next game (or patch)and make it available off line

or

B. Add HEAVY amounts of customization to Sops and make it available offline in a patch.
