… why would you need to know if your opponents are buddied-up?

it’s like most basic info I’m used to know from every halo game, why so secret about it?

Why? So you can join the enemy party or something?

You can probably just look at their xbox profile to see

I’m not talking only about chat party but when I know my opponent is in the group together I change my fighting strategy, I am more cautious because I know they’re a tight team And they are in voice chat etc.

My strategy is always the same.
Bullet? Meet target. Target? Make it interesting.

if everyone’s are lonewolfs you can risk more etc is always more difficult play against full party that’s a fact

True it is more difficult.
But that is the beautiful thing about RamboBambiBamboBingoBongoBoiyoBaby : I revel in chaos and unlikelyhoods.

To be fair, the ability to see a chat bubble (or other “in-party” indicator) next to your enemies on the scoreboard is a very useful way to confirm if you’re fighting a stack instead of very synergetic randoms.

If playing Open Crossplay, it’s safe to assume the enemy team is partied up, especially once you get to Diamond and higher. Below Diamond, I don’t think it matters as much, as most Plats and below aren’t really calling out and strategizing in any meaningful way.

It’d be really inconvenient mid-game, but you could always pull up their Xbox profiles and check to see if they’re partied up.

I do miss the old school lobbies.
