I dont understand why i am seeing so much hate already? i mean its not even out yet and no one has played it, i watched the trailer and i think it looks like its going to be quite fun.
I know they are making changes and its going to be different but can’t we at least give it a chance before critisising so much. Just wanted to see other peoples opinions on this and see what reasons they have for disliking it so much, not looking to start arguments just a discussion so please be nice if you respond haha

You answered your own question. People hate change. People on the internet love to remind everyone of that.
Because it wont be an offline feature, it wont be as good as Firefight was and it is still a gamemode that acquires you to use and buy REQ’s with real money. Just another cash grab for 343 and Microsoft. It might be fine but I feel it wont even last that long. Halo 5’s population is low enough already and I dont see this bringing anyone back.
I think it looks cool but we all should withhold judgement till it comes out and we get a chance to play it and then make up our thoughts on it. Right now it’s still mostly speculation and for some people to immediately go it sucks I’m not even going to give it a try when we just got our first trailer is a bit dumb.

There is nothing wrong with change if done in the right sense and rightfully innovates.
It feels good to complain. It elevates you to a higher status. You alone see past the -Yoink- and know better than anyone else. And as such, it’s your God-given duty to let everyone know how right you are and how wrong everyone else is and that only your opinion is worth anything.
I take it as a good thing because they don’t have legitimate things to complain about so they complain about things that aren’t out yet. I think it looks great for what we’ve seen but we still know next to nothing so I’m going to wait to judge it.
Because it’s not going to be all that great like people think it is gbh it looks like garbage it’s way to overhyped the only gametype that’s truly going to revive this game is Infection not firefight
Firefight in any form is meh to me. Same as warzone in any form. So combine the two and get double meh. I understand that others like both and can agree that a reach/odst style firefight with offline capabilities might have been a better option.

You are apparently one of those reminding persons. How much truth is it actually in that statement though? Does people really hate change? Or are they perhaps not content with what they get and want something else?

Of course no one has to buy REQ packs for real money. That however does not mean WFF most likely will have so many bullet sponges or difficult side timed objectives that you’ll be depleting your stock of highly usable reqs rather fast, resulting in, not the need, incentive to buy them for real money. In order to actually complete WFF.
I even said when Warzone was announced back at E3 that it’s stupid of i343 not to include a Firefight mode where you use REQs. Rather than wait for community feedback regarding it.
Why was it stupid of them?
Firefight provides an additional PvE mode, and content to the game, which adds more variation and replayability of the game.
It’d be another mode in which to deplete your REQ stock, so anyone prepared to spend the money would fo so, and with a possibly larger population due to better replayability and more variation, a chance for more players prepared to spend money on REQ packs.
But what do I know, I’m probably just a kid on a whinefest who know nothing about anything.

Well maybe its just me who has problems depleting my reqs? i seem to have a lot, maybe i dont req enough in warzone, when i get to my lvl 8 recon DMR and recon AR i really dont need anything else. maybe as you say WFF will be needing a lot of reqs pulled out, we just dont know yet.
Sorry about the whinefest kid comment i think i have just reached my quota of unconstructive hate/flame, halo is dead, its not like it used to be posts.
Whats the point of firefight if you cannot play it offline? What’s the point of firefight without the sets, rounds, skulls, bonus rounds, weapon drops. Firefight is not about hordes of enemies and power weapon chaos. It’s about Hordes of enemies and strategy, as well as being able to play it offline with friends (which won’t happen with no lan support, thanks Microsoft).
Dont get me wrong, I am still VERY excited for it. But 343 needs our feedback to know how to make it better, and to make it live up to the firefight name.
Criticism is not hate, stop trying to stamp out the opinions of those who criticise by labelling it as hate.

Sorry it is nothing but hate. No one has even played it so you can’t give feedback actually.

They said in the description of the video 5 rounds. Secondly, it’s feedback based on what we have seen. No one is saying it will be garbage, they are saying what they want to see, and what it needs to be successful.
You just label it hate so you don’t have to develop a logical counter arguement.
