People are constantly whining about Brian reed asking 343 to fire him, that’s a bit harsh don’t you think. Sure you could argue he’ll ruin the next game, but 343 hears our plea’s of agony and for the most part their listening, despite other company’s doing the exact opposite (this ones directed at you Activision). Instead formally ask 343 to make Brian reed step down from his current position as lead writer, BAD WRITING IS NOT A REASON TO FIRE SOMEONE, especially if it was not their intent. So in conclusion 343 I am asking you to PLEASE replace Brian Reed with some one with Superior Writing skills, to insure the future of the halo franchise is kept intact, and to keep the fans loyal to Halo name.

Why are you blaming Brian Reed? Do you work at 343i? Why not just bring the games plot and pacing issues to their attention and let them handle all their employees? They know who had what idea, they know who contributed, etc. and while Brian might be the lead writer, he might not have had complete control over the games story elements.

I am not entirely blaming him, It takes Two to tango, and the other dancer is more than likely co writers/Microsoft. However, Brian reed just so happens to be Infamous in the comic book world for his … writing skills, leading me to the conclusion that his Skills at writing a story, so to speak , are not on par with other writers of the same title. I am sure that he is not the lone suspect, though I’m not ruling it out yet as a possibility. PS, don’t you think it’s weird that a co writer at 343 left right before all this Brian reed hate sparked?
