When i sometime dont have enough friends on line to make a team to play with, i just play with randoms. But then its like half of the time the team i get are just total idiotic noobs, seriously do they not understand how to play halo.Like first example i can think of was just last match playing CTF and all other 4 “teammates” ( I use that term lossely") just wanted to defend and did a good enough job at it for say. So when I finally get the flag close enough by myself but die, Expecting one of them to just easily pick it up and score. But no he starts carrying it a away from the capture point. By the time i respawn he was already back at half field and drops the flag. There plenty of other examples I can think of but I just say that one.
They cant all be good, then good would be bad.
Think about it.
they don’t have to be good, they just need to be decent and able.
> they don’t have to be good, they just need to be decent and able.
In the world of online gaming, decent and able is good.

i’d say that’s false
i can use a Sniper Rifle effectively
but am i Good with one? HELL no
If you haven’t noticed that’s the majority of the population that remains. The majority of the good players have all moved on, the spray and prey people are now the majority.

Where do people come up with this stuff? I don’t know about you guys but I would say the population feels more competitive then anything. Well not competitive in the sense the the game is filled with competition. Competitive as everyone nearly always seems to be trying as hard as possible(btb included). I would assume that most of the former spray and prayers left Halo a long time ago for CoD. It does however feel like the very few handful of “bad” players always wind up on my team.
I feel your frustration.
I was running the flag back to Blue base on Exile. A "teammate"kept beeping the horn on The mongoose. I got on the back thinking he’d drive me to the capture zone but, no.Instead, he turned around and speed back to the Red base, jumped off the Mongoose and hide while I was team shot. He and his friend then got the flag and took the mongoose and went and scored.

Where do people come up with the stuff? Go play on Exile, people treat that so much like a COD map it isn’t funny. Spawn camping the tank every match. I doubt the people online that are left have even touched a Halo game before, let alone came from COD.
I hear you man. I pretty much always play by myself because all my “team mates” from every game I play are dumb. Pretty much every single team game I play, I’m the top scoring player, with the most amounts of kill and least amount of deaths, but I always lose because my “team mates” were horrible.
In my Commendations tab under Slayer, I maxed out “High Score” while “Slayer Victory” is still at 2/5… Just shows you how bad my team mates always are.
I just played a similar game of CTF where ALL FOUR of my teammates never went ten feet from our base, and get this, they still failed at defending the flag.
I don’t get why people say Spray and Pray on a game that doesn’t have Iron sights.
> I don’t get why people say Spray and Pray on a game that doesn’t have Iron sights.
Are you new to shooters?
Spray and pray has been in essentially as long as automatics have been in gaming, it became more popular when some games introduced headshot capabilities on said automatics.
Counter Strike for instance, no iron sight, still spraying and praying.
Iron sights is just a method of aiming and has nothing to do with the actual action of holding the trigger down with any weapon that is automatic and praying that you kill something.

No I am not been gaming since 1999, UT, CS, and Quake. And I never ever heard people back then use the term spray and pray on those games.

I never said that it isn’t spraying and praying I am saying that it is a term that I have only heard people use on CoD. I also said that people shouldn’t use the term Spray and Pray unless they are talking about fully automatics.
i know the pain man

it still amazes me how bad some of the teammates I get though. Like seriously after 100 matches you’d think a player would catch on how to play a mode like CTF or at least have decent aim.

That is pretty much how I feel about this game, it does seem like it (to me anyways) that most of the players on 4 have never play a Halo game ever.
