People who use the beam rifle make themselves easy targets for ground pounds. I don’t think it’s as bad as everyone says, I always do very well just focusing on ground pounding…
I used to think that this wasn’t a problem, then this match happened. Look at the stats of the top three players, mainly the guy in first. Get rid of the damn Beam Rifle, 343.
How about shotguns instead?

I think it’s an issue when the top people in the games I’ve played have nothing but beam rifle kills and not a single ground pound kill.

Yeah, I’m just saying that doesn’t happen to me as much.
I think splasers would be a good replacement. They still require you to hold still and shine a bright light at your target, but it wouldn’t be so easy.

Theres a reason why I just target people who use the beam rifle.
I say swords only so you can move around the map quicker etc…
I have not had a ground pound game yet where number 1 won by ground pounds. Most of the time frost is 90 percent beam kills other 10npercent gp or pistol
