I have all of the halo games as of right now and I would like to continue owning all of them but what is the point in buying Anniversary? Is it going to include new armor for reach or have the Halo 4 beta or have anything special? I don’t want to waste $40 when I have Halo CE But if its worth it can someone please tell me how? Thanks in advanced 
we dont know much of what 343 has to offer just halo reach maps which will soon be able for DLC and a campaign i however would reccomend buying it i also think there will be a halo 4 beta with it
Just wait till halofest and a Sh*t load of info will come out about it. I am pretty sure there will be a beta for halo 4 since halo 3 and reach had one, and like they did with odst you will get access to the beta if you buy halo cea.
I hate reach and I am still buying the game for the sake of playing the halo 1 maps.

Will the dlc come out around the same time as Annivesary? What are the dates for these 2 things?

Lol Don’t want to sound stupid but what is halofest and when is it? I like reach 
the dates are unknown but they will not come out the same day if you remember mythic and ODST it came out about 6 months later

halo fest is at pax prime which is like e3 in late august, 343i said at e3 that alot more info about halo 4 and cea will be released there

Also something that has not been mentioned yet, the ability to switch back and forth between new and old graphics during gameplay, online co-op campaign, and the ability to search for terminals that will give us an insite into the storyline for Halo 4.
In my opinion all good reasons to get Halo CE, and I personally like to pre-order it gives me the opportunity to space the cost out and thereby allowing me to justify the expense.

I mean honestly seeing Halo 1 in new current gen graphics and having achievies/terminals/etc. is more than enough reason for me.
of course I want the new maps as well, but that’s more of a bonus for me.
And just a little guess here: It’ll probably let you play the Halo 4 beta as well, just an educated guess.

Buy it to relive old memories. Also, buy it so you can play firefight maps, get more achievements and more importantly…playing the old maps on XBL.
It’ll feature several free DLC maps for Reach, similar to how ODST had Halo 3 maps. (But Halo Annie is a single-disc deal. You can download the maps to your drive.)
Aside from that, it’s nothing special. It’s a port – not a remake, a port with better graphics – of Halo 1. Same awesome story. Same great characters. Same classic feel. But also the same broken physics engine. Same limitations on how many AI can exist in a scene. Same early-2000s-quality voice acting. Same obsolete level design. Just with a new skin.
So really, whether or not Annie’s actually worth the cost depends on the contents of a certain upcoming Title Update…

If a spiffy version of Halo 1 was 100 dollars everyone would still buy it. It’s Halo one. I LOVE its “broken” engine!
well lets look at all the things that have been confirmed.
7 multiplayer maps come with the game, one of which is a new firefight map
new easter eggs have been put it, terminals have been confirmed and they are video this time and hint towards halo 4s story.
campaign is completely graphicly remastered and you can switch back and foreward between old and new graphics.
online 2 player co-op over XBL
seems like a pretty good deal to me
