why REALLY not to buy Halo 4

(this is a sort of reply to Burzerkur ClAw’s post)
MAKE SURE YOU READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU POST
These are the reasons halo 4 is not worth buying, not that the game as a whole isnt worth buying. to be specific, there are reasons (and tons of them) to buy the game, but with every reason to buy it, there are also reasons NOT to. I’m not saying that I wont get it, because I will, but I’m simply making a list of things that may be the reason why people wont buy it. I will list unbiased reasons that only have to do with it being a game and a sequel, not having to do with “game looks too much like reach” or “not using ‘new ideas’ that I came up with” (both of these examples being terrible reasons to state)

ALSO NOTE: that this is partly a “what if” list and that none of these things are necessarily based on the things we have seen. I think halo 4 will be a great game, just worried that it will have:

 1. Not enough content: This was the main reason people hate the CoD games, (mostly the MW series. 3arch gives us zombies, so we appreciate them more) short campaign, repetitive multiplayer that doesn’t make people want to play because there’s a lot to do, but because they want to unlock the next sight, or reach the cap level so they can prestige for the umpteenth time. I’m not only expecting a good game, I want a good game that can last. I want an at least 10 hour long campaign, something I can play without getting bored the 3rd time through, and I’m sure a lot of you wouldn’t expect anything less. I’m sure if it’s not that long, it’ll still be kick–Yoink-. besides, there’s always forge and custom games to play around in for months. lets just hope they don’t pull a Mass Effect 3 on us and remove content that was already there

 2. Repetitive Gameplay: Reach gave us a lot of variety what with the space mission and the constant change of environment and atmosphere. I don’t think this will be a big issue. what I DO think may be an issue is if they don’t put it together in the right sense. (hate to compare this game to CoD, but there just aren’t that many bad generic shooters I can think of to use as examples) CoD has resorted to nothing but “reach section X while constantly respawning enemies come at you” and “hold out at building Y while constantly respawning enemies come at you”, but still not as big a problem, because anyone who’s played a halo game know the enemies are pre-loaded 95% of the time.

 3. An old feel: this can be a good OR a bad thing. if you make people feel too distant from the previous games, you dont feel like you’re playing the game you expected to be the sequel, but rather a completely different game; make the game too much like the previous installment (lol CoD) and people wont feel like they’re even playing a sequel, just some DLC they paid full game price for. again, I dont think this will be a problem for halo 4 and the stuff we’ve seen so far shows.

 4. A Bad Community: that’s right. this is another reason CoD has gone down the drain. Go on any “no party” playlist I assure you there will be at least 3 eleven year olds screaming curse words and pretending they do weed. now I’m not saying kids in general are bad, in fact I’d like to see GOOD behaved kids play games because it shows there is still decent parenting in the world. but this isnt always the kids’ faults, adults are just as responsible. having a 30 year old complaining about the lag and how he gets more tail than some stranger over the internet is no more mature than a 10 year old doing the same thing. we need to set the standard, and “I OWNED YOU N00B SUCK IT” isnt going to cut it.

ONCE AGAIN, I’m not saying people SHOULDN’T buy halo 4, but these reasons are why the people who arent buying it arent buying it. I AM getting halo 4,I cannot stress that enough, and I DONT think these will be issues, just some things to be weary of.

see that, Burzerkur ClAw? THAT’s how you make a “reasons not to” post.

I didn’t read it all… Cus I got tired of stupid complaining.

These are reasons not to buy Cod. Halo 4 will most likely excel in all these things.

FINALLY SOME REASON!! But im pretty sure we can say Halo 4 is going to be a pretty solid Halo game. Lol at Burzerkur ClAw.

comparing halo to COD? this has surely never happened before. what an original and innovative viewpoint you have OP.

If you don’t want to buy halo 4 don’t buy it. don’t waste valuable internets making a list of reasons why you specifically don’t want to buy the game. no one cares.

G T F O with these useless threads. If you think you will convince someone to not buy Halo 4 on a Halo forum think again.

I get the feeling you just broke up with cod after a long relationship or something. This just seems like you are comparing your new girlfriend to all the flaws of your old girlfriend, hey it made me laugh.

Please enlighten me why he made it then.

Two reasons…

This, and this.
