Jetpack
—A game that used to involve good strategies usually decided the outcome is now replaced by a cheap trick. Because For some God Awfull reason people play Slayer as Opposed to DMR’s, I am subjected to raining jetpackers with assault rifles. It’s bad enough that jetpackers can scale 3 floors in an instant, allowing for them to respawn, gain altitude and throw grenades back ontop of their recently deceased body, but its quite old when someone who doesnt care about their KDR jetpacks with automatic weapons so that in Slayer, as I’m running up to them with my shotgun, they have the luxery of just flying away with no way of me killing them. That defeats the purpose of stealth and well placed jumps, turns, accurate shooting, and a well placed grade when all someone has to do is go up, then needle you because you have No cover. -
Armor Lock.
Once again, those without skill seeem to come out ontop. As i am thoroughly kicking your -Yoink-, you rapidly tap armor lock, allowing you to stand invincible then break out for the cheap one hit melee. If you suck, you teammates come running to help you, but if i turn around, you pop out of it. eliminating the joy of the 1 v 1 showdown with an antic that truly shows how poorly you can shoot. If it were up to me, Once you pressed armorlock, it should force it on at least until you’ve fully dropped,
- Title Updates and The Removal of Squad Slayer
WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WTF SUPER SLAYER IS? I notice nothing different from regular tem slayer and it’s taking the slot of Squad slayer which was my religious playlist the entire time it was up. 5 v 5 to 75, allowing for longer paced players to reach 25-30 kills a game :).
- Jacked up shields.
math says that 1+2=3 and 2+1=3, but not in halo reach. Because your shield and Health are two different things, you may beat your enemy senseless, but inless you attack in the right order, it’s pointless, instead of Halo 3 where once your shield was down, you were S.O.L., now you have players surviving by the skin of their teeth.
5.No Bubble Shield.
We loved it in Halo 3, You taunt us by putting it in the game but not allowing it in team slayer, on to my next point
- Too many efiin grenades.
In Halo 3, a barrage of grenade could be thwarted by a well timed bubble shield, that could be shared by all, 30 seconds or so of time to recoup. Not anymore, unless you choose to not have sprint and choose armor lock, you have really no way of escaping grenades. if being attacked by 3 enemies who have just spawned, your odds of being carpet bombed by 6 grenades are very high. hows about we start with 1, and pick up more on the map?
- Pistol Ammo.
—5 shots used to kill, not anymore.
Unless you play title update slayer, the bloom is too great to effectively pistol someone with one clip, that being said, the pistol needs at least one more shot in the clip. Too many times have i been left with n empty clip, an enemy with a shield, and nothing but an assault rifle to attempt to kill with, over 20 yards, forget about it.

On almost every map besides Pinacle (rockets, sniper, shotty) The red side has the advantage on power weapons…most games are usually a slaughter by one side

Give me back my BATTLE RIFLE!
3 shot bursts thank you! extreme bloom one shots, no tnx. -
Active Camo is be picked up on the map.
A decent sniper with active camo in a corner can make for a lopsided victory. i shouldn’t have to stood to your parlor tricks because you refuse to go out and fight face to face. yes, i’m a preferred sniper, but if it comes to it, i can just as easily pull out a DMR without needing teamates, grenades, or the ability to jam radars at will.
Sprint. Bubble Shield, Hell Evade is fun. Can’t we cut down the shenaniganry and just shoot our gins, we’ve over complicated the shooting game
