Why Ranked playlists worked

It allowed for more teamplay and teamwork. Back in the Halo 3 days, I could brave it solo and get paried with people that had mics. Teamwork also allowed for an incentive to win because everyone worked as a team and didn’t go lone wolf. I bravo Halo 4 matchmaking solo because hardly any of my friends play it except maybe one or two people. The chance of me getting paired with players that have mics that work as a team are maybe 3 in 10.

Ranked playlists allowed for incentive, motivation, and I’ll say it again…teamwork. Social playlists allowed for people to kick back and relax when they wanted a break from ranked. People could play splitscreen with friends in Social but not Ranked.

Now you have Halo 4 where every playlist like Reach allowed guests and people barely use mics. But why use a mic when everyone goes lone wolf? Why use a mic where there is a lack ot teamplay almost every game? I can only hope for Ranked Playlists in Halo 5. Being competitive is why I play Halo now.

Being competitive and bettering my skill is how I have fun in Halo.

That’s all I gotta say.

cool.

I still play with team work and a mic. Weird how that works since we dont have a ranked play list.

Wierd how I was talking about Ranked Playlists back in Halo 3. Wierd how I also mentioned Social Playlists in Halo 3. Wierd how Ranked playlists were competitive.
