Any way you look at it, these are all skilless additions to halo. They provide knowledge that recently took skill to aquire.
ProV, stalker, and radar all tell you where your opponent is. Without these you have to know where they spawned, accessible routes, thinking patterns, ETAs, motivations, and so many more to deduce where an enemy is located. Now all you have to do is press X or look at a circle.
Camo makes you better at being sneaky. Used to in halo 1-3, a player could be defined by a few skills assets, sneakiness being very prized. It took alot of skill to avoid detection. Now camo does 90% of the job for you cuz some noob knows how to press X.
This probably applies to a few others, but i dont know enough about them yet.
Ive posted something similar to this before, and apparently stating something on forums that isnt omgiluv343 is flamebait. Lets try this again then.
Note: These arent oppinions. I dont need to play the game to know what they do, their purpose (as stated and confirmed by 343i) is to accomplish a job FOR you. These are facts.
I’ve always been sneaky, it’s one of my favorite (and most annoying) traits. I can’t say I’d mind using camo, though. I like turning invisible, it feels awesome.
Camo just need to still have the radar jammer function and only if the guy has a sniper will it prove effective. I see the jam and I steer clear. I heard Pro vision has been nerfed since E3 343 relised it was horrible that you can see everyone on the map with its. and its supposed to have an audio effect for everyone else so they know to expect they could be being watched. Stalker, Invasion had something like it but I think you got a waypoint thing if you got a spree but it was only there for a small amount of time. Stalker should have a timer like five seconds so you can see if the guy who killed you is camping and if not you just get a clue to where he is going.

Thats not what its about. I dig me some invis for customs like ghost busters or predator. I dont think they belong in MM, but thats just because i enjoy a competitive environment.
The point of the post is to make people realize that this is just making the game easier for noobs.

I too, enjoy a competitive environment, take a gander at my k/d. I think that’s the point of the armor abilities though. To make a Spartan’s job easier. Otherwise, they’d be a pointless addition to the lore and gameplay.

This is always the most half–Yoinked!- response to anything, right after “I’ve played Halo since CE”. So many people are under the comfort that so long as you use this phrase before your opinion, you can say whatever the hell you want and expect to get away with it.

Great lets add infinite armorlock and infinte rockets in h4 too…

It won’t make their strafe/gunplay any better.
The only thing I have against camo is it being used with the sniper.
The PV has been nerfed quite a lot since the E3 build.
Making it easier for new players doesn’t make it less competitive they will still get wrecked by veterans regardless of what AA or mod they are using.
You do realize that radar has been around from the beginning right?
Personally, i think these abilities are balanced by the fact that if you use them you cant use anything else. I think ill try using other abilities more. sure you know exactly where I am, but i still have my motion tracker and a different AA that can be more useful in combat, so… if i can use those to kill you you are the one at a disadvantage, not me.
While some may see these abilities as “noob-friendly” that doesn’t mean you have to use them to keep up. I think that if you are good enough to not need the “crutches” then you already have an advantage because you now have a free AA slot to put something else in. so… it kind of goes both ways.

I know right, its almost as bad as when people read the first sentence and ignore all points in the post.

If the AAs sounded as unbalanced as armor lock then I wouldn’t be defending them. I was fine with camo, never used it in MM because sprint was the best option for me. But its wicked fun in custom games on my map encompassing forgeworld. I grab a sniper and Camo then at least four of my friends have to find me all while I’m creeping my way about forge world, I made most areas of it accessible through multiple means.
I may not exactly like Pro vision but it doesn’t stop you from being killed it just gives you more situational awareness and if you use it to get the drop on someone theres always the possibility the guy is prepared to fight back. It’s better than armor lock anyday and If I hear a beep I’m gonna be ready and I’ll glance at my tracker even more.
BTW OP why do you want motion trackers gone? Its one thing that really to me makes Halo unique.

You know what the phrases “alot easier” and “a little easier” have in common? “Easier”.

I really don’t understand people. If you want Camo, then you need to be skillful/smart enough to grab it ON THE MAP. You should never be granted an ability as strong as Camo off of spawn. Not to mention Bungie’s broken approach to the Camo loadout. The slower you are, the more you blend in which promotes hiding with Camo. It’s almost as if Bungie wanted people to abuse Camo. And 343 is smart enough to make the same stupid mistake. Yoinking facepalm.

Don’t blow what I said out of proportion because your upset Halo 4 won’t be like it’s predecessors. You realize there’s going to be playlists with no AAs right?
With your logic, every armor ability can be noob friendly.
