Why? Playlist Structure

Since Halo Infinite went live I haven’t for the life of me been able to figure out why the playlist is structured as a single, down-scrolling menu.

Why (like other Halos) is it not divided into two categories: Ranked/Unranked with appropriate game types in each? If there’s already been literature on this feel free to link to it in the comments.

I’m looking for a logical explanation for why the playlist isn’t divided into ranked/unranked so if you know let me know.

I remember a while back ske7ch mentioning “UI limitations” as the reason why more playlists weren’t added. Not sure if this limitation is the reason we have a long list as opposed to a structured interface. MCC does it right! Even Vanguard with all of its issues has a nice UI for playlist selection.

Maybe the more technical members of the community can explain how does a new engine have UI limitations…it’s supposed to be a new/modern engine.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a new modern potato this is halo and it’s essential for halo to have two separate entities ranked and social if they can’t figure out how to write some codes over em engine it’s time to give the franchise to someone else I’m so tired of all these bs excuses….

Yup, 343 has used up any goodwill it once had. It’s beyond frustrating how they keep dropping the ball with each release.
