I don’t want to insult or anything but why do so many people want to play as elites. Im asking this because i dont know almost anything about halo CE or 2. Can someone clear this or explain. Is it because elites are stronger than spartans?

No,it’s just nostalgia.The elites have the exact same EVERYTHING as spartans,except their hitbox is larger,putting them at a disadvantage in gunfights.(Also they have different huds.)
This should go in The elite thread. Also here’s a good answer. Elites were playable in CE on PC with mods then bungie made it a feature in 2. So the feature was in 2, 3 and reach, while technically also being in CE so this was a feature in for 8 years at least and 9-10 years at most. It’s something that became a part of halo and it was ripped away.
It’s a matter of personal preference,it didn’t need to be removed in the first place and should return along with invasion

Except for the fact that their necks didn’t have a hitbox in halo 3. I wouldn’t have an issue with them being in social playlists, but in ranked everyone needs to start on equal ground, in fairness to the player and their team.
