Why people act like Halo 5 and 343i are so good with Halo ???
Wtf is going on ? I see a lot of jokes like :
“Halo 5 best Halo multi ever”
“As good as H3”
“Best gameplay and most competitiv” <— LMAO this one
Are all the true old fans gone ? Only young kids might play “Halo” now to think that Halo 5 is an amazing “Halo” lol…
You guys didn’t play Halo 1 2 3 in their golden time right ?
It was just perfection and 10 billions better.
When i see the H5 maps, Holly F i want to throw my Xbox in a wall. I tell myself, what am i playing that’s so bad !
H4 and H5 are the best yes, at most generic and boring Halo all of time.
Halo 5 is like COD now : die fast, run like crazy braindead, ADS, no skill in the aim, free no scope and headshot, Truck’s huge hitbox, bullet magnetism… PLEASE for the love of god stop saying this game is competitiv.
Why old Halo were so good ? Cause they could be as fun as serious. The game was no sprint ? So then what’s the matter ? But you can breath and that was trolly or only good moves and brain

Halo 1 2 3 was so good at try hard to not aiming wrong and to not strafing wrong and to not moving wrong.
The maps, oh my… That was godlike ! Just give me 1 map better than Guardian or Blackout at 1v1 from any other FPS ?

Also, using the “only kids like Halo 5. All the adults that know better don’t like it” immediately will make people disagree with you. You can have an opinion, but don’t try to elevate your opinion over others because of age and previous halo game play alone. Everyone is allowed to like or dislike something no matter their age or previous experience.

Um… Doom was and still is fast paced as hell dude. Quite being a jerk to everyone and accept that people love Halo 5 and there’s nothing wrong with it. Unless you want to be banned?
While there is a lot I would change in the game, it does offer the best up-to-date play.
I would start with better maps. Change from the RNG REQ system to a more traditional challenge based one. Bring back Halo 4 tier customization. etc. etc. etc.

Bit extreme ey? H3 in MLG settings was the fastest halo yet, time to engagement was unreal. Its not just speed, its map design.

I understand you. Don’t worry about Grammer if you’re not a native speaker. This forum and the mods are pretty good about not letting people pick on others for that reason.
I agree that you probably can’t make an educating decision about the “best halo” if you haven’t played the other games, but I think it’s unwise to make the assumption that someone who has played all the games can’t enjoy this gameplay more than older titles. I for one, have played them all, minus spartan assault or wars, and I enjoy the new mechanics. The only game I had more fun in was ODST, and that was due to firefight which is now coming to halo 5. I can’t wait.
To me, Halo 5 has been my best experience o f a halo game. Hell, any game. So, to me, Halo 5 is my favourite. On par with CE. (Those LAN days with all my friends though) So get your opinion, live in your world, and don’t insult others with a different opinion.

So I can’t like Halo 1, 2 and 3 and also like Halo 5 for different reasons while also liking the previous 3 for reasons relating to nostalgia and on their own merits?

If people are going to call out others in a rude manner like this, they’ll be reported and banned. It’s not a hard concept. Be a jerk, get banned. Don’t be a jerk but express your opinion in a calm and collective manner while keeping an open mind, you get to be on the forums for another day.

It’s posts like these that really map story telling wonderful.
Calling Halo 5 the best Halo is hyperbole by miles, but in comparison to Halo 4…well that game may be the worst of all time, and halo 5 is at least worthy of the Halo name. Bungie made way better maps though.
How about you get off Halo and go play something else and stop complaining? Or go play Halo 3 or Halo 2 so you can enjoy that but instead you choose to play Halo 5 so obviously you enjoy and like so hush up and stop whining all the time.
