I have come to relize today that most people that hate the dmr and perfer the br are the people that don’t know how to use it… Most of my friends that I know and play with hate the dmr just because of the bloom… If it didn’t have that would it not be pretty much the exact same as the br?

I don’t know why people complain about it I get my shots in pretty well.
We complain because people that spam beat the people that try using bloom to their advantage.
People complain about it because its bloom is inconsistent, pacing doesn’t always win against spamming at mid range.
I hate the DMR not just because of bloom(I do fine with it anyways) but because it has a cross the map range. I found the BR more fun to use as it had a less effective range than the DMR. The DMR can spam at close range and be used effectively at medium and cross the map range. The BR couldn’t do all that as it actually took aim to kill from across the map.
Because it’s overpowered, not because I don’t know how to use it effectively. It can take down a hog with ease with team-fire, the way the spread on it is designed allows randomness when spamming at high speeds, and rewards those who spam when designed the opposite, as well as just being able to tear through players in general. At least with the BR it took a lot of effort to take down a vehicle with one, there was a capped RoF to not allow spamming, it was harder to aim exactly where you wanted to shoot with such a large reticule, etc.
I love the DMR! I like it better than the BR. Bloom or not, I love it. I like bloom on it. You have to pulse your weapons with precision at long range opposed to spraying which will get you no where.

There are two reasons why I don’t like the DMR.
1 - how random it is
2 - it restricts map movement b/c of it’s range
I’m much more annoyed with #2.
The DMR is a terrible weapon, spammers beat pacer’s, all your shots are more or less random and at times complete luck. Everyone and their mother can see that bloom is broken.
The BR was a more fair weapon, the difference between Reach and Halo2/3 was that the latter actually had a skill gap.
To say that the complainer’s just simply dont know how to use the DMR is just arrogant and you obviously do not understand anything you are trying to point out in your O.P.
The reason people hate things is because those things are not exactly what they want them to be. DMR vs. BR is just one in a million arguments that should have been ignored from the start.
I’m fine with the dmr FOR REACH because its better for Reaches slightly different gameplay. The BR was way better for the Halo3 style of gameplay because it added more possibilities=fun. Three round burst allows for more fun. Besides its pretty much the same as the needle rifle and very similar to the carbine. All we need is a Halo4 carbine and we are fine. At least that’s my opinion.
