Why only upgrade the pistol....Halo CEA was more then that.

In the new update the Pistol is getting it’s Halo:CE glory back. Seems good. Yet why only the pistol? Why don’t they add a “Stun” option for plasma weapons or Halo:CE physics options [which could easily be done I bet]

I like the new update. Bloom being taken out and A.L being nerfed is good. Making all those options for the pistol is great too. Yet why must 343 ignore the other weapons in Halo:CE.

I think 343i should do this as well

1-Stun effect on Plasma
0%-What we have now
25%-Slight stun. Nothing special
50%-What we had in Halo:CE. Just enough to give you an edge
75%-More stun. then Halo:CE. Giving Plasma guns a HUGE edge in a battle
100%-Shooting an enemy will literally prevent them from moving

2-ShotGun options
Spread Rate -Low. Med. High
Range- Low. Med. High

3-Physics Options
A-No damage to Vehicles [at all]
B-Grenades will effect vehicles a lot more.
C-When vehicles hit eachother they will act more like they did in HaloCE. [i.e-Driving a warthog into a tank will send it flying up like in Halo:CE]
D-Guns will spin

[Sure I missed others]

Anyway does anyone else think 343i should have more options along with the Pistol, or should they leave it as is?

Some good suggestions. If 343 does do something like those, as long as they are balanced they should be fine. (Although I do like some unbalanced things as well from Halo:CE — Warthog’s killing anyone they touch :smiley: )

I wish that 343 would increase the clip size of the AR to CE’s sixty round clip or at least fire as fast.

Good suggestions, however its not going to happen with 343i.

Halo 4, on the other hand…

Adding the plasma stun requires far more work then removing bloom and increasing the magnum’s damage. With the latter you just change a few things in already existing code, but plasma stun would need a whole lot of new code to be added. And the same applies to the physics engine. H:CE used it’s own, Reach uses the Havok engine.
