I made a thread simply to explain why buffing the BR to a 4sk would be beneficial for Halo 4. Can 343 not take a little constructive criticism?
Someone please give me an answer.

There’d be no problem if 343 left a simple explanation when they inexplicably lock threads.
Really don’t know, you should definetly PM a mod for that.
It could have had nothing to do with you. If there was an argument or exstensive flaming from users in the thread, a moderator could have locked it. They should have told you why it was locked though.

Locking an intelligent post because some users decide to post immature replies is a terrible idea. Also, there wasn’t really any extensive flaming or inappropriate comments, just discussions. They at least owe me an explanation.
If the BR was a 4SK, the DMR would be unused.

Obviously didn’t read the thread. The BR at this point is completely useless, there’s absolutely no reason to use it over the DMR or carbine.

I’ve done something similar back in time the 2nd thread (like this one) was lockd too and i was left with no explenation.
The only way is to PM a Mod or be lucky enough to have an answer from a mod in this thread.

It’s not completely useless. Did you play the game? Most of the people who played the demo at E3 used the BR over the other weapons for the majority of their time. I wonder why. Also, if the BR was a 4SK, the carbine and DMR would be even more useless than what you claim the BR is now.

It’s been said multiple times by multiple people who have played the game that they were using the BR out of nostalgia, not because it’s useful. And still, you clearly haven’t reach the thread because B Deck explained exactly how making the BR 4SK would impact the DMR and Carbine, they would still be completely viable weapons in their intended ranges.
I’m a little busy right now and working on a bunch of different things including clean up.
Next time, shoot someone a PM instead of post like this, k?
