I had an honest, informational thread on what H4 needs to be competitive. All of a sudden it was locked the other day. If anyone can tell me why, please do.
I bet a Reach loving kid reported you several times for wanting skilled gameplay.
Well is there anyway to get it unlocked I didn’t violate any rules whatsoever?
It seemed like a petition(?) I think, but correct me if I’m wrong that petitions were banned, because they were just useless.
That is just speculation on my part though.

It definitely not a petition. And I just read the forum guidelines, and there’s no ban on petitions. Is there anyway to contact the moderators to ask them?

Ok then, thanks for confirmation. You might be able to send a PM to a CL. I’m not too sure.

The thread’s purpose was to show the community’s support for a competitive H4. Clearly there was nothing I was petitioning. And if you bothered to read the whole post, you would see that 343 allows petitions.

Let me quote the third post from it:
> What is spam?
> Spam is a post that does not contribute to the topic at hand. Spam includes but is not limited to single word responses, petitions, non-English posts, posts containing all-caps, and bumps (replies purposely made to move the thread to the top of the active thread list). Below are some examples of posts that are not allowed on our forums. It is not a complete list, and Administrators and Moderators reserve the right to determine what constitutes spam at their discretion.

You may claim that it is not petition, but you were asking for people to sign the thread to support the addition for a competitive mulitplayer experience, in a form of a petition.
^Dat.
And lemme add some words so that this isn’t considered spam.
Threads designed for signing are considered petitions. Feel free to recreate your thread, next time focusing on discussion instead of virtual signatures.
From the forum rules:

Do not post content that could be considered bumping, advertising, spam, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation.
