The forums are always filled with doom and gloom and a general feeling of disappointment. Now if the game comes out and it’s sub-par, all fine and dandy, rail on about it however you want. But the thing is, almost everyone posting hasn’t even touched the game since the beta 6 months ago, and things have changed a lot since then, so that info may not even be accurate.
Is it really wrong to wait a month before praising this game as the second coming or demonizing it to the point of killing the Xbone?

Uhhh, they have kind of revealed most of the game… That’s like saying why get hyped or excited for a game… it could be bad.

All that we’ve seen is video. We haven’t played it yet, but people are already saying the mechanics are horrible. No one really has a good position to judge without playing the finished version, but they do it anyways.
And getting hype for a game that isn’t out yet isn’t very good, either, because it could be bad. But it could be good. We don’t know, so we should wait until the reviews come out or you buy it.

This post would have made much more sense in April.
Honestly the fans have the right to make sure that halo is getting the proper treatment. Most halo fans havent had a GREAT halo game since halo 3. I’m not saying reach or halo 4 is bad but there is nothing wrong with someone being worried about the future of their favorite franchise
I will admit that some people do go a bit overboard but we must be vocal and let 343 know how we feel so that the game is what the fans want. I’m not worried in the slightest because the beta was good but someone people will be because the beta wasnt the final product.
Its with anything in life man, people will worry about something they care about. Nothing wrong with that at all.
I agree. I hate it when people bash others because they say negative things about Halo 5, yet they’re the ones praising a game that isn’t out yet. A bit hypocritical.
Newsflash: This same thing kind of happened before Halo 4’s launch. It looks amazing to some, looked terrible to others. And look how that turned out. We have a right to be concerned about the future of Halo.
