Wouldn’t that be a great alternative?
I imagine the app getting refreshed every time we enter a new lobby and displaying info from Waypoint on the players (including CSR).
Everybody has a portable device these days. From a laptop to any smartphone, I know I would be grateful for a Smartglass integration.
What do you think?

Tweet Jessica Shea @bsangel about this matter and we may get a response about alternative options to integrate CSR, as of now, people are tweeting to her about implementing a halo waypoint stats window into the infinity menu that only YOU can see, no one else. IMO that would be a much better solution
Well the point is to see other’s CSR. To see with whom you’re dealing with.
I don’t care about my immediate CSR as long as I can peek at it once a day.
> When will it launch?
> The short version is CSR will launch early next year when it’s ready. We have an extensive post-launch plan for Halo 4, including DLC, playlist updates, and title updates. As soon as we have a confirmed launch date for the Waypoint update that includes CSR, we’ll make an announcement. Set your expectations for release timing appropriately since this will require delicate tuning, testing and implementation for Waypoint Web, Waypoint Console and Smartglass integration and is a feature designed specifically for the competitive community.

When is the stupid Waypoint App going to stop showing me my Reach armor? It keeps taunting me with my old good looking helmet.

@BIGVince042 The whole problem with CSR atm is that you cannot see it on your console, and 343i wont put it on the console because they don’t want CSR to be visible for everyone to see because it opens up a black market business (selling 50 account and such) and supposedly due to UI limitations (which is bs), so having a waypoint stats hub in the infinity menu is the best of both worlds.

Which is why a good majority don’t want this. We don’t want to be immediately judged by people who only care about rank.
Thank you for the link but that doesn’t meet my request.
What Smartglass does is displaying your own stats. I’m speaking of dynamic statistics from your current lobby.

And what does my judgment means to you (if we hypothetically play together)? It’s not like it’s going to change the game’s outcome.

This is exactly why 343i doesn’t want to implement it.

Exactly. It’s much better to be judged by K/D. Because unlike the 1-50 system, K/D is totally an accurate representation of someone’s skill level and people won’t make fun of others because of it.

So you believe that there won’t be a large ammount of lobby quitting if someone gets into a lobby and finds alot of low ranked people?
Or a low ranked person who sees high ranked ones and doesn’t want to get creamed.
I’d rather not wait in a game lobby for 20 minuts for people to get over themselves so we can play.

You will be able to see you, your friends CSR, and the CSR of last lobby you played in (I think) but as I said 343i wont give you detailed CSR every lobby because it opens up a black market business.

Those players shouldn’t be matched up to begin with…duh. That’s the whole point of a ranking system.
So you’re saying that those types of match ups are okay as long as we don’t see our ranks?
Listen to yourself, dude.
Yes.
I play this game to play, against good people, or poor people, I don’t really care.
You apparently only want a game where you only have to play with or against certain people. Which is elitist crap.
> Exactly. It’s much better to be judged by K/D. Because unlike the 1-50 system, K/D is totally an accurate representation of someone’s skill level and people won’t make fun of others because of it.
I have read many posts where K/D was used to either boast or denigrate. In game too. When you are insecure in real life, you’ll do both.

I want to play fair and even matches. That’s common sense, not elitist crap.
Others clearly do as well. You already admitted it.
We need the 1-50 because that’s part of how we have fun. Your fun wouldn’t be lessened any if the system was in place and visible. You can’t say boosters ruined your fun because A: It’s the same situation atm
&
B: You had social playlists
Your qualms with the 1-50 have to do with people in general.
You want everyone to play the way you do, and that’s pretty hypocritical.
Its not hypcritical to want people to play in a fair way.
You want to play in a way that excludes people from playing with others.
I want to play in a way that allows the entire population to play together.
I think you have the definition of elitist down pretty well.
And if I have a low rank because I barely play ranked, but still I want to play it at some point, you’re saying its perfectly ok for no one to want to play with me and leave the lobby.
Cause honestly that’s just crap.
CSR is supposed to have Smartglass integration.

Who said I don’t want people to play in a “fair way”?
You could have that in social.
You would be matched up with other kids of your skill level…
You know, like you’re supposed to…
Everyone being randomly placed into games creates huge problems in a game like Halo. Believing otherwise is incredibly ignorant.
