When they added FFA Throwback as a playlist it was like the most fun I’ve had since I picked up this game. 8 or so players just whaling on each other for 10 minutes because no one wanted to play the objective. We want a regular FFA but you keep giving us all these lame objective FFA playlists, but when we play the objectives how we want (ignoring them and killing one another the entire game) you remove it, wth?
Now I’m forced to go back to hopping between playlists literally every game because there is always that one little thing I hate about each playlist that makes it unbearable to play more than a few games in a row.
You can’t really do that in Regicide because once you’re on top everyone comes after you and I have no choice but to fight them off which in turn keeps my score rising so I end up staying the King for the majority of the game. It’s really a nuisance being punished for doing well by letting all 7 people on the map know where you are right from the spawn and coming after you for the bonus.
They just need a standard Rumble Pit playlist with all FFA objective and slayer gametypes, I don’t know why they decided regicide deserved it’s own playlist.
Their decision making is horrid… you have permanent playlists with 5k players or less and they remove fan favorite playlists such as snipers with triple or more the population… in favor of a playlist that had 2k people in it…
Wild Trolling, you can’t really compare Team Regicide to FFA Throwback. One is 4v4 and one is FFA, I’m posting this in regards to FFA playlists not team-based playlists. FFA Throwback was the best FFA playlist they’ve had so far because it was closest to just a regular Rumble Pit, if the stupid objective was ignored and players just killed each other which most did.
FFA Throwback is the most fun I’ve had in this disappointing game and without a decent FFA playlist other than stupid Regicide I’ll lose total interest in it.
Go BuBba Go, I also wasn’t too happy about them removing Team Snipers either. I don’t understand why they cant just have a permenant Team Snipers playlist and a permenant Rumble Pit playlist. I’m just saying that FFA Throwback was the closest to a regular Rumble Pit playlist if the objective was ignored, which most players did.

I don’t get what you want then. It’s the same as FFA Throwback. Everyone running after a certain point/individual.
IF the objective was ignored, we weren’t going after any particular player. Especially in KOTH, we would just kill each other not focused on a single individual. I would just like a regular FFA where you kill people with no objective, no punishment for doing well, no fighting for a particular area or item.
I was simply dumbfounded when I saw that they had removed FFA throwback (throwback to what, btw?). That was the most/only fun I’ve had among all the playlists so far. Is it really difficult for 343i to maintain more than eleven playlists at once, that they have to keep shuffling them around?
Why can’t they add some of the more relaxed lists in from Reach? I’m thinking of multiteam (best evar), rocket race, super slayer, action sack, and even grifball. I’m pretty sick of all the hyper-competitive game types where you’re either rolling the other team or getting rolled.
