We all know that it’s Halo 5, though, in everything but name. It has all the elements needed for it to be a direct sequel to Halo 4. Calling it “Halo Xbox One” just sounds a little ridiculous.

I mean, imagine if Bungie did the Halo 3 reveal trailer from 2006, didn’t call it Halo 3, and said “Halo Xbox 360”. That’d be pretty stupid, right?

I’m still calling it Halo 5.
Cortana is “dead”. It’s a sequel to Halo 4. You are fighting the Forerunner tech even more now. Why not?

If it’s Halo 5, just call it Halo 5, not some other name. If it’s not Halo 5, that’s fine.

All the main installments have been numbered, except for Halo: CE of course (they didn’t know if there’d be a sequel or not). Halo 4 was named Halo 4, the 4th main installment, this should follow through, unless it’s a spin-off bridge game. Hope 343 clears this up pretty soon and clear the storm.
