Why not have Xbox Live Guest Accounts with same cosmetic unlocks with the Host?

In the original Halo 4 game on 360, Xbox Live Guest accounts are able to customize their appearance with any and all armor pieces unlocked by their host. This differs from previous titles, in which guests could change their emblem, colors, service tag and gender, but could not customize their armor. I wish that would be the case for MCC and for all Halo title games in it. What are your thoughts? Hope 343 sees this.

Would be nice for themed matches, and if we get custom armor in campaign, and Machinima if people still make those…

There is no need for any of that as none of the armor actually does anything. It’s all completely useless.

Then feel free to drop your useless comments elsewhere.

My comments aren’t useless - a guest having access to any of that will not affect his/her experience at all as they do nothing. I’m not sure what the issue is here.

I’d love this feature too and it’d be great to be able to save Guest presets so that when playing splitscreen you don’t have to reset everything every time.

Armor doesn’t do anything, so I don’t know why you find the issue of having armor unlocks with guests. It’s just a feature. It’s a wishful thinking. Clearly you might not have any fashion sense. Just play the game and have fun. We play games to have fun too, but many people love to customize their Spartans to express themselves. It’s been going on since Halo 3.

Fashion sense? When I play halo, all I see is what is in front of me, a reticle, my weapon, and part of a Spartan’s arm holding said weapon. No armor in sight. I’m not sure how changing any of it would make the game any better seeing as how it’s never on screen and also doesn’t have any effect whatsoever.

Then why are you here? To snide on other people’s opinions? Players normally can’t see their armor, but they can see other player’s armor in game. Why are you even here in this forum? We even see our armor on Reach campaign cutscenes. I’m pretty sure most people play the game to earn armor so they can look good. So what if armor doesn’t change the gameplay? Who cares about that? Why would anyone care if changing armor does nothing? You have low standards, dude.
