Why not have a GameType Weekend? H3 did!!
Reach has Jackpot weekend. I really don’t care. My other account is a reclaimer.
Spice things up by having a weekend playlist (Thursday afternoon to Monday afternoon). It could be once a month, every other weekend, or every weekend. I suggest every other weekend.
To spice it up even more, have a DLC weekend playlist and make DLC free. It is about time all DLC is free since H4 will be out soon.
Most of the good things that were in Halo 3 were made into Playlists for Halo: Reach, Grifball, Living Dead for example.
DLC won’t become free, Halo 3 still has DLC that costs (Mythic Map Pack II is full price) and Halo Wars still has full DLC.
The Reach DLC has had multiple discounts.
I came up with this idea moths ago. It’s hard to judge the general opinion when there’s always one side being aggressively against it. 343i probably thinks if they go through with it they’re angering fans.
Why not just have double credit weekend for playlists. You would get double the usual credits in a certain playlist or all playlists. Agreed. A very good way to get rocket hogs out of multiteam. Elite slayer out of… well, everything.
They should at least do this for H4.
There’s a maximum limit to the number of playlists that can exist at one time. AFAIK Matchmaking is either at or very close to that limit right now.
This would be a good idea if there’s room for another playlist, but there might not be.

Good things from H3 would be a ranking system, playlist weekend, and ZB!!! Aren’t Grifball and Living Dead for the unskilled masses of little kids who are not old enough to buy the game? I guess it is just about the $. Living Dead is very dumb, but 343i seems to adore it.
Are you avoiding answering the main question? Weekend playlist!!! I find 343 often skirts the issues by shooting down the unimportant parts of a post.
