Is there no chance that there will be guardian in halo 4
Probably not. It can be created in Forge rather easily, and the Jetpack would destroy it, so there’s really no point in bringing it back as a real map.

Jetpack would easily destroy it. Its all about what works with the current sandbox
Hey, look on the bright side, Abandon seems to have taken some design ques from Guardian. There’s also the possibility of remaking the map with Forge.
It’s too small and it just wouldn’t work the same for Halo 4.
Guardian is praised too much. I didn’t like the map as much as some others.
The reason they didn’t include Guardian is because of armour abilities, specialisations, armour modifications, support upgrades, etc. Could you imagine playing on Guardian with all of those features? It just wouldn’t work.

There will be a classic playlist. It’s been a must. And then it can work. It was balanced, fast paced and a proper night time map.

Guardian was fun, but i’d like to see a successor to it, the same organic environment, but bigger and higher, so if would work with the jet pack.

Damn I came into this thread just to say why not Zoidberg.
OP I wouldn’t worry about it. Forge fans will create a bevy of old maps within the first month Halo 4 is out.
How about a map that hasn’t been played on over Xbox LIVE, like say a PC only map?
Just be grateful we are even getting 1 remake, and that its the best map in halo history, at least for me
They obviously tried it. In the IGN Ragnarok video, the map developer talked about how they tried multiple past maps, but with the sandbox, Vallhala won out.
It didn’t seem to work. So, either have to forge it, or maybe they could try again for DLC.
