For me the game has solid gameplay. It’s took Halo in the right direction.
I’d say about 33% of threads are outright hating it, 33% are praising it, and the last third like it but have one or two issues with it.
I am liking it alot so far, i’m glad its not a complete repeat of the past Halos. It is its own stand alone game and experience and its different from the rest. If I wanted a game like Halo 3 or 2 I would just play those instead.

This is the norm for every forum dedicated to major games. Some people hate the changes, some love them and other don’t really care for them but will live with them because they aren’t major changes in gameplay.
Praise the lord thank you Jesus the Reclamation has begun.
I honestly love the game the only two thins I don’t like about it is that the kill time is really low and me being able to 3 shot someone with a BR with no headshots I don’t like that, and I wish they made ONI more prevalent in the campaign.
For what it’s worth I’m having a blast! despite losing my stats last night but got em back this morning! xD
Finally some sense. I have played 15 hours in 2 days. So far i’ve come to realise I will be sinking 100’s of hours because it’s neat
I think 343 took the game in the right direction.
My family and I have been Halo fans from there very beginning and we’ll be there throughout Halo’s life 
We can’t get enough of it.
I can’t wait to play it. I live in the country so I have fairly poor download speed, but from what I’ve seen I’m sure I’ll love it after it finishes! At 50% now so here’s to hoping the second half will be quicker.
I am enjoying it, especially the campaign so far, one thing to remember is that it is the middle part of a trilogy - which always has to leave you hanging or leave things to build on for the finale.
I’ve only played Warzone for a few hours but I am enjoying it. Not as much as I thought I would but it’s a nice change of scenery. I am really waiting for Big Team Battle. Until then, War zone is cool. Haven’t tried Slayer yet.
When the beta was out, after about a day I started to do really good and was having a lot of fun so I’m sure that will be the same case with the final game. Right now I am getting used to the controls again and how how the game feels. Once I get used to it again I’ll try to find a group of friends to play War zone with so we can all use mics.
This game needs an Exuberant Witness dlc.
I’m loving it.
I love the game so far. Sure the campaign is different than all previous titles. But PvP is the best in the series (including H2).
My only complaint is the lack of gametypes.
Played the campaign… Liked it! Not perfect, but a cool plot and excellent firefights. Gonna dive into Warzone and Arena tomorrow. It’s gonna be a bit before I know how I feel about the multiplayer.
If BTB comes out when they say, and they work in the other modes as well. We could have a winner here.
