So for the past couple of years 343 have referenced ODST’s in their games. Why not just make a dedicated game? The only thing we have close to another ODST game is The sunray 1-1 DLC in halo wars 2 and Fireteam: raven arcade game. Would you want a new ODST game? If so would you like it to follow Alpha nine or a completely new squad.
Another odst styled game or even a marine based game would be nice but it cant follow alpha 9, their story after the war was pretty clear in new blood and bad blood
It would be interesting to see another non spartan perspective, but hopefully with a little more stakes.

ODST for some reason is one of my favorite games.

Unless it’s something like Halo Infinite ODST, I would want it to have multiplayer this time.
Remember the Vid Masters we had in ODST? That added so much game time value.
Yeah im hoping we get another game with odst in the title. No an add on dlc, but a full game with its own story. And im asuming if they did make another game, they would make a better firefight and add a pvp multiplayer mode.

Yeah, that’s what I meant. Someone we get to play as and see the story through their eyes. I haven’t played Halo Wars, I think Jerome is the character we play. Halo 1-4 had John. ODST had some guy (I haven’t played that game either), and Halo 5 had us switch between between John and Locke. Reach allowed us to choose which version of Noble 6 to play as, but as everyone has been so “kind” enough to point out, Noble 6 is canonically male.
I mean, it’s not like it’s a deal breaker. If the game looks fun I’ll still buy and play it. But it’s what I would like.

I mean, where has 343i ever shown that kind of attitude?
Aside from Palmer’s single line in SpOps, I don’t see where that assertion comes from.
Honestly I am huge fan of the Spartan III’s lore. I think it would be cool to see some missions or a game based of the battles that the Spartan III’s went through.
Even tho like 90% of Spartan III’s die. In these battles.Even with a few missions that let us play as some Headhunters on stealth missions. I think there is a lot of potential, but that’s for 343 to decide to take action towards to show us other perspectives.
I think the issue is with these game are people get super upset when Chief isn’t the main character. Its a slippery slope that either works or fails.
Another ODST game? Well tell me where to drop some cash 
ODST was fun, I enjoyed the balance of not being a super soldier for once. Plus I mean, Buck!

I’d love another ODST game. The first one was so different in pace and atmosphere compared to other mainline Halos it was so refreshing. As for the squad I don’t care which one, as long as the characters are good.

ODSTs seem pretty obsolete after the Spartan IV program. Besides, we were still quite powerful as ODSTs in Halo 3: ODST. Let’s take it down even further and play as an ordinary Marine if we’re going to go this route.
