I have honestly traveled every last centimeter that Forge World has to offer. Yes, that includes the outsides, too. I have posted a very similar topic like this on the Se7ensins forums back in August, but why not do it again here?
Anyways, like I said, I have traveled EVERYWHERE in Forge World and I have always thought about “Forge World being unlocked and loaded?” During my gameplay time, I have traveled many parts on foot. Like there is this location on Forge World commonly nicknamed as “The Plains” or “The Grassy Abyss.” I have been there, and yes, it is solid and could be Forge ready. I have also been on top of the Skull Mountain due to the assist of the Falcon. I’ve noticed that when you get close to the mountain, or any mountain outside of the limits, it gets all pixelated and it’s not solid at all. That’s usual for my expectations for the outside world of Forge World, and it is normal for an Xbox 360 game to do that, I know. But what if 343i would put the better Forge World in? You know, with everything unlocked and no barriers everywhere? Just imagine the possibilities. I have always had dreams where I could freely build not only (what I want to build) inside Forge World, but outside too! Imagine needing to go miles away to go pick up your friends in a Pelican / Phantom. Imagine if you could build massive war zones and city like area around the Forge World. I’ve always wanted to build a city just west of the Skull Mountain. And I’ve always wanted to build large bases in the snowy areas and fill in the Grassy Plains / Abyss. And imagine of there was a day / night cycle in Forge World along with a dynamic weather system! I’ve always thought it could be possible with a modded Xbox 360; to just build anywhere and everywhere with your friends anytime. I know that the Xbox 360 console would crash and explode instantly, but imagine if it would be added with Halo 5: Guardians. Do you know how cool it would be to have a Halo: Reach era themed Forge World in Halo 5: Guardians? Or what if 343i released an unlocked Forge World on a disk? Would that help any? And before anyone says anything, I am aware of object lag infesting the world if too much items where placed, but dream with me here.
Anyways, I’m done here. And I’m really sorry if I went off topic and started going gibberish.
