I was wandering why 343 did not put swat into the new playlist on anniversary . no to mention all of the game types . I rarely play slayer , and when I do it is rumble pit . With all of the game types we have on reach anniversary is a horrible multiplayer . I have only played 3 matches and find myself back playing reach .
I would like Annisersary SWAT as well.

The new maps were added to the SWAT line up. I am not downplaying the desire for a dedicated playlist but I feel that there are too many playlists at the moment. I hope we get a major update this December to help streamline the MP playlists.

Maps from Noble and Defiant were also added to SWAT. Guess how many times I have played them.
I’m not saying I want a dedicated Anniversary SWAT playlist but using the fact that they have been added to normal SWAT as justification for not having a dedicated playlist is using flawed logic.

I have thought about this a bit more and I agree that they could have added the Gametype into the Anniversary rotation. I still think that there are way too many playlists though. I wouldn’t want to see more unless they take away a few. The reason for this is: I feel the matches are not optimal because there are less people to draw from.
I have seen more DLC maps pop up since they added a greater weighting to them.
I actually want Living dead on anniversary maps.

I feel like, after buying CEA, and Noble & Defiant that I’ve wasted money supporting Bungie and Certain Affinity with their creations but haven’t gotten anything in return.
I’ve played SWAT on Anchor 9 maybe twice since Noble came out. I’ve played Anniversary just to try the new maps out, but I don’t play regular Halo - I play SWAT and Snipers.
I really feel that those of us who actually supported this game through the complaints, criticism and abandons are being shafted just to keep the marginal population playing. Those crybabies got the Zero Bloom they wanted; why can’t we SWAT players get our desires heard and implemented? We may be a minority, but we’re a dedicated minority.
(Hell, I’d even be okay with merging SWAT with Snipers if 343 would make the unified playlist DLC-required JUST so I could play Sword Base way less often.)
Minority? SWAT is consistently the third most popular playlist.
Adding more playlists isn’t going to help anything, Reach has way too many already and what 4 or 5 different settings of the game? Default, ZB, 85%, Anniversary and Anniversary with AA’s.
Something needs to be done to stop dividing the populations and overall just try to fix the game. Playlists are going to need to be downsized, some type of settings are going to have to be streamlined across the board, so much work needs to be done to playlists/maps/gametypes. I honestly wouldn’t want to be in 343’s shoes because of how much work Reach needs. I have no idea what they have planned but I’m sure they’ll do their best and we should try to help them.
Something they should do is require the damn DLC in quite a bit of the playlists.
I would love a SWAT playlist. Its the only game type I enjoy playing anymore and having to go back and screw with shields and grenades is just killing me, figuratively and literally.
I’m pretty sure the new maps will be integrated into the other playlists later on, so just wait for it to happen.
