When I first bought Halo 5: Guardians I was really excited to play local Split Screen multiplayer with my brother. Then I put the disc in waited for it to update. Then it finally launched. Then I grabbed two controllers and tried to join local. But no Split Screen! I would really appreciate it if they at least add 2 player Split Screen.
Now I barely play Halo 5 and would rather play something else instead. If they add Split Screen they would get a huge number of fans back. I no longer like Halo as much.
I grew up playing halo on Split Screen.
Not gonna happen with Halo 5…sorry.

It hasn’t been official denied that Scorpio won’t support splitscreen…yet.
But yeah, it’s a very sad (and dumb) thing.

I thought I read reports saying currently it cannot be done currently due to…resolution? I can’t remember, maybe with the new One S though
According to 343, the reason split-screen was not implemented in Halo 5 was due to glitches with the rehauled game engine.
