Went to launch halo infinite 18:05 only 5 minutes after uk launch time was met with a 3GB update to then access campaign menu then have to install another 20GB!! Now 19:05 still not able to play and only at 40% why couldnt we just pre install after digital pre order purchase?!!

Probably because we live in an age where a 6 year old with a stick can get past the artificial lock on the content.
yeah? i had it installed already and read that it’d be that very 3g update today… nope… 20g update and constant crashes when i try to stream it

They’re an indie studio that doesn’t have the resources to do that man, don’t be so harsh on them.
(just kidding.)
They probably didn’t want any leaks or something along those lines, although a 1 day pre-load or 2 day pre-load would’ve been nice for those of you that bought the Campaign.
It may have been because one or all of the storefronts don’t support pre-installing DLC. The campaign is technically just a DLC for the main game which is free.
