I was just looking at all the available armour you can wear and was wondering why you can’t wear any of the old armour types like ODST from Reach. I though at first they are Spartan IVs so they can’t use GEN1 armour, but EVA and recon are available so was it just lazyness or what. Also the new armour seems to be going away from giant pauldrons, cough Reach.
It’s not laziness, it’s just that they chose to leave out some of the older armour variants. I understand why ODST didn’t return, the reason being that there aren’t any ODSTs in the game. There’s only so much that they could fit on the disc, and there’s a huge amount of armours already available. We already have a good selection of Halo 3 and Reach armours, there isn’t really any need to bring them all back.
