Is there a reason we haven’t seen halo 5 gameplay yet this close to the beta? I would like to pre order and get beta access to try it out, but I’d rather get some gameplay to look at first before I throw $60 at GameStop. All I’ve seen as far as gameplay goes is the redone version of Halo 2 Anniversary, but No halo 5 gameplay. I’ve already played Halo 1-4 so I know what it’s going to be like lol.

It’s a year before the game’s release, so the beta should be the first gameplay we get. And why wouldn’t you just pay for the game AFTER you see the beta?
I think it’s a little early for gameplay to be released of Halo 5. Be patient, my young padawan.
Well, normally you see the gameplay to determine wether or not you want to get the game. I don’t wanna pay for the beta and commit to buying the game just to see the gameplay. Most game companies release gameplay first, then release a beta for those who want to play in it after seing the awesome gameplay.
Because the MCC comes first. If you’re getting the MCC then you’ll get the beta.
You aren’t exactly paying for the beta, you are paying for four Halo games in one package along with a beta access and Halo: Nightfall. It’s like saying someone doesn’t want to pay for the Doom beta when they bought Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Even if you don’t buy the MCC straight away with the Beta, as soon as it goes live there will be loads of Youtube videos to give you an indication of what the game looks like, then you can think about getting it.

I think they were saying something about some exclusive content being carried over to the final game if you play the beta.
it’s still over a year until it’s going to be released & even the beta will only be a small part of the whole experience, so you’re expecting way to much. maybe we’ll see some gameplay-footage of the beta a few weeks before its start, but even this won’t show how the final game will look, since it’ll be over a half year until the game’s released when the beta ends & it should be obvious that that some things will change between the Beta and the release of the final game.
first things first, Halo 5 is probably in Alpha stages, if not, pre-alpha. Larges amounts of gameplay will be very buggy and laggy. also, you are paying for the MCC. The beta is a nice bonus.

You will experience gameplay with beta to come shortly after MCC’s release. I wouldn’t be surprised if they released another teaser trailer before hand.

Well the beta comes out in December so we’re obviously going to see gameplay before next E3

Exactly, its not even in the beta form, maybe pre-alpha, but not beta, any gameplay would be terrible looking and glitchy, a few weeks til release of the beta we will see gameplay
We’ll probably see some Beta footage closer to the Beta. Maybe early December they’ll release a video or trailer detailing the maps and gametypes and some of the weapons.
