I believe the forum should keep the name “Halo Xbox One” so we aren’t limited to discussing Halo 5. I was gonna make a thread about this but see you already did.
The TV show is coming in 2015, that was confirmed recently.
We’ll likely get a forum for Halo 2014 when it’s revealed at E3 on June 9th.
The main reason the Halo Xbox One forum was renamed to Halo 5: Guardians because a lot of people were simply expecting that game to arrive this year and the majority of discussions were revolving around that.

No need to try and keep the discussion about both projects in one forum, that’ll just cause a lot of clutter. I’m sure we can survive another two weeks without a forum to discuss Halo 2014.
General Discussion would probably be your best bet for that kind of discussion right now.

I don’t agree with you Moa; Most of the discussion in the “xbox one” forum was about suggestions for H5. That is no reason to specifically exclude discussion of a Halo something that we are going to learn about in just a few days…
I say E3 will not announce a Halo game for xbox one and that is why there is no forum.

I worded that part of my post poorly, I meant that most people were indeed using the Halo Xbox One section to discuss ideas, suggestions, etc for Halo 5: Guardians, under the impression that it would be the game arriving this year.
I still think a Halo game is coming in 2014. The main reason why there probably isn’t a forum for Halo 2014 is because we simply don’t know anything about it. We don’t know what game it is going to be.
There is nothing to discuss about it at this point. Once June 9th rolls around and a new game is announced, we’ll get a forum then.
Maybe its because whatever happens in 2014 isn’t a game.
And if it is a game, like Halo 2 A, they are obviously not going to announce it by giving it its own forum.

Why no Halo 2014 forum?? That’s what the Halo 2 forum is for!
