I’m unsure if this has been brought up in the last and lost to a slew of posts regarding other topics. I have not recently found this out, but I’m having to inform new comers to halo 5 even though we’re in a Fireteam we’re unable to talk to one another until fully matched with other players. I have no problem informing this to them, but they automatically assume once invited into the Fireteam we can community with one another.
I can see how they think that since MCC has this feature where you are able to talk amongst a group while in main menu. I’ve invited many gamers into a present Fireteam but unable to communicate/conversate with one another until other people are found in matchmaking. Some would say they found an alternative which is creating a party and inviting them to join it. but that is only you and who you invite. What about the other teammates you just joined in matchmaking?
Basically I’m asking why is there no voice chat in Fireteam from main menu? Conversation about what to play and hearing everybody’s opinions before the game gives us that 30 second intermission then everything goes silent. Is there a poll or petition drawn up for main menu Fireteam voice comm in the past I was unaware of? Or does one need to be drawn up or this brought to 343’s attention?
