I repeatedly open req packs and still no dmr but several dmr skins and its starting to annoy me i know im not the only one who is dealing with this problem?
Ahhh the good old days of not getting a DMR out of packs. I miss the grind sometimes.
I’m sure you know this already but only open silver packs until you have unlocked all the rare items, and then start opening golds. That’s the fastest way to progress through the REQ system. Keep at it and it will eventually pop.

You open silver packs exclusively.
According to your Halo 5 rank of SR71, you aren’t going to be getting the DMR into your at least level 80 or 90 from my experience. Of course you could also just get insanely lucky, and manage to get a DMR by level 75.
In my grinding days to get everything in Halo 5, I didn’t get the DMR until level 105 lol. This was before I knew about the “buy bronze, silvers, then gold”, nowadays you just buy silvers directly, then you buy gold.

You are only SR 72, you have only begun the req grind. As others have stated only open silver packs first. There is silver level unlocks in the gold packs so technically you can get silver level stuff at a gold price and that is a waste of points. Grind out silvers till they refund two 1500 point req cards instead of unlocks then start opening golds. Also if you can there is another HCS tournament coming up next month and you can get some free packs from it.
It takes either a long while of grinding through packs or shear luck. It took me awhile to snag one.
Just play and in time you will have everything
I remember getting the dmr way back when i was a scrub. My first dmr was a suppressed dmr and it was a seven req and way back when it was hard for me to get seven reqs

I got a Dmr when I was level 21, it’s all about that RNG luck

I know everyone is going to hate this, but I started playing in may I think and I got the dmr at around level 40 maybe, don’t know how but it shows it is completely luck, stick to those silvers though
All I buy are silver and gold packs, yet no DMR because I’m unlucky. (Says the guy with helioskrill helmet from a bronze pack)

Man if you have been playing a year or even eight months and don’t have a dmr yet either #1 you don’t get to play to often, which your SR being pretty low says that is more likely, so you haven’t opened to many packs yet …or…#2 you aren’t opening strictly silvers and you are wasting points opening golds which cost more so you are opening less packs. There are A LOT of silver level stuff you need to get them all unlocked so you aren’t paying gold price for silvers… Or… #3 you just have had bad luck opening silver packs.
While it is nice to have the DMR, you can get along pretty well without one.

Yeah, but I prefer a long/medium range as my primary and short range for my secondary, so the DMR is a luxury to have with my playstyle
